Concourse Paid Area
The concourse paid area is a term used in Singapore's MRT stations for an area in the concourse where passengers have already paid their MRT fares.
Passengers can only access the station platform through the concourse paid area. Hence, passengers are required to enter or exit a fare gate before accessing the
station platform. Thereby, passengers will need to pay before being able to board the trains.
