Dhoby Ghaut
Dhoby Ghaut refers to Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station, which is Singapore's deepest underground MRT station. It is an interchange station for 2 lines, and a 3rd future line (Circle Line), making it the large interchange station in Singapore as well.
Dhoby Ghaut Station is also Singapore's first MRT station to have shops built in the station grounds. In addition, Dhoby XChange is Singapore's first MRT shopping plaza, where shops are built in the station grounds for commuters to visit before entering the concourse area of the station.
