East Coast
East Coast is name of the eastern coastal area of Singapore. It is usually refered to the East Coast Beach, which a reclaimed beach on the south eastern coast on Singapore.
At East Coast, Singaporeans enjoy outdoor activities such as swimming, cycling, roller blading and even fishing. It is a place for a whole family to enjoy at the same time. Singapores like to visit East Coast during the weekends, making the place exceptionally crowded during those times.
Currently, East Coast can only be accessed with a bus service that operates only in weekends and public holidays. The government is looking at the feasibility of building a MRT line which connects East Coast to other parts of Singapore
