Tampines
Tampines is a regional center for the eastern part of Singapore. It has several multi business and entertainment centers, which provides entertainment and business opportunities at the same time.
Being a regional center, Tampines is very well connected to the rest of Singapore. It is home to Singapore's 3rd largest bus interchange, with buses that go as far as the western part of Singapore. Tampines is also an area with a high population density, as immigrants favour the estate due to its close proximity with the airport.
In the future, a new MRT line, codenamed North Shore Line, will link Tampines with the Airport and other places at the north and north eastern parts of Singapore.
