East West Line - Boon Lay Extension

In order to cater to the needs of workers and residents living in the Jurong West area, the current East West Line will be extended to serve 2 more stations: Joo Koon and Pioneer. These 2 stations are located near to residential estates and industrial areas so as to provide better convenience for workers and residents. The travelling time to Boon Lay Central from the Jurong West area will be greatly shortened.

The Boon Lay Extension will be opened in 2008.
