Our Prospected Future

Our group perceives that the MRT system in Singapore will soon be easily accessible from all areas of the island. Currently, there are a few areas which are linked to the nearest MRT stations only through buses and we see the increasing need to link these areas to the city with a new MRT line for better convenience.

These areas include:
- Marine Parade
- Bedok Reservoir
- East Coast
- Changi Village
- Lower Delta (Kim Seng)
- Bukit Timah
- Seletar

Therefore, after our thorough research on the future development of Singapore's MRT system, we have come up with the following map which our group has drawn out. The blue line indicates our perception towards the future development of Singapore's MRT lines.

With the addition of this line, Singaporeans can enjoy better accessibility as many places are linked to the city through the MRT. Reaching the city will just be a matter of minutes for people in those areas. Henceforth, although the proposed development of the MRT lines in Singapore aren't as close to our prediction, we are still sure that such a map will help to highlight the importance of linking such areas to the city with a new MRT line.
